Every year, September 14 is celebrated as Hindi Diwas across the country to remember the historic occasion to promote Hindi Language and to save it from getting extinct. Hindi Diwas commemorates the adoption of Hindi language in India. The reason for celebrating this day is being the fact that it was on 14th September 1949 that the Constituent Assembly of India, adopted Hindi in Devanagari script as the official language of the Republic of India.
Under the effective leadership of the Principal Dr. Kuldeep Dubey and Vice Principal Dr. G. Padma Gauri, the Special Days & Staff Association Committee had organized the Hindi Diwas- “Hindi Hai Hum” on 14th September 2019, Saturday, in which various competitions are being organized for the students to make them, aware of the Hindi language. It’s an event by which students are tested in their Hindi language and accuracy.
Students have largely participated in slogan writing competition, poem competition and extempore competition. The response of the students was overwhelming.
Father Julius Xess, Asstistant Administrator, Dr. kuldeep Dubey, Principal, Dr. G. Padma Gauri Vice Principal was present as special guests along with the HOD’s of different department and staff members at the occasion.
Mrs. Garima Tahiliani, the convener of the committee lead from the front by directing the event along with team of Mrs. Ramola Dan, Mrs. Aeysha Hendricks, Ms. Vidhi Chhabra and Mrs. Shikha Agrawal executed the program along with a team of students.
The event ended with the distribution of certificates to the winners as an encouragement by the Principal Dr. Kuldeep Dubey.
